Last week we talked about Being Here Now. And I have been thinking about how much of the time we define ourselves and others by the past.
Sometimes it happens in our school, at work or even in our family that we do certain things, go through certain experiences and then we are labeled to be a certain way. It turns out that for the rest of our lives every time that we are around that group of people we are treated like we are that kind of a person, we are even expected to be so, and we end up somehow succumbing to it and playing the part. This would be fine, but it seems to me that most of us have many facets. That if we have a good day and are very playful with everyone we meet, it does not mean that we are clowns. Nor does it mean that if we take our jobs seriously, that we are nerds. There is a time and a place for everything…The article
